Spent a night with my girlfriend at Symondsdown House as we had a evening dinner at the nearby River Cottage HQ. We cant say enough about how great our stay was, and especially how hospitable Marina and Stuart were which made the stay amazing. Highlights for us:- great communication throughout the booking process- Stuart and Marina were welcoming from the first minute we got there, easy to talk to and make you feel immediately comfortable.- Symondsdown house is a beautiful venue with comfortable and spacious rooms. We booked a room with an ensuite.- Stuart and Marina do everything themselves, so there is a lot of care and detail into making the stay comfortable - Stuart can provide a taxi service to the nearby River Cottage if you have a dinner reservation there- breakfast was filling and delicious. We each had the full English breakfast.- Only improvement point for us is that we wish we spent more time there!Highly recommend!Jon and Jen
Had a lovely time when my girlfriend and I stayed here. Beautiful house, beautiful grounds, and Lyme Regis is a beautiful place. Marina and Stuart were very welcoming, and we can't wait to visit again soon!
