I went to Axe Valley Motors for a tyre change onto a new pair of rear Alloys. One of the alloys was damaged in the process and Steve sent my wheel off for repair and re-paint. When the car came back the wrong alloy had been poorly painted and in a different colour. The wheel that went for repair had the same damaged on and i was left with one damaged alloy and another which was now damaged and a different colour. Although steve has given me his word 3 times it will get sorted, 6 months later of constant ringing, emails, visits and promises, no repair has taken place. Their moto is 'you can trust your car with us', well after this i will never trust steve again to take care of my car because he goes against his word and doesnt accept responsibility of any damage. Steve is very friendly and leads you to believe he will do what he can to sort it. Very disappointed. I am now left with brand new wheels damaged and different colours. Thanks axe valley motors.
Our car broke down while we were on holiday camping. They took our car in at short notice and quickly found what was wrong. Unfortunately it cost more to fix than its worth however Axe Valley Motors really kindly loaned us a car for a couple of days so our holiday wasn't ruined.
I was on Holiday in Devon last week when my car broke down. An AA mechanic made a temporary fix and recommended that I take the car to Axe Valley Motors to get it repaired properly. He passed my details onto Steve who was great - getting back to me with a very reasonable quote for the work very quickly and then fitting it in with only a couple of hours notice to ensure that it was ready for the drive home to London. Very impressed with the friendly service and for how accommodating the team were - I would happily recommend them.
Great garage run by Steve, who runs highly skilled team that work hard to meet tough deadlines. If after a breakdown you are towed into them rest assured that your car will be in very good hands and do not worry as you will NOT be ripped off!
Highly recommended. I took my car in this morning thinking I needed my brake pads replacing. Steve had a look over and realised that the dust shield had come loose, so just tightened it up and sent me on my way.They could have fleeced me for new pads and I'd have been none-the-wiser. However, that little bit of honesty has gone a long way and they've got a customer for life now!
