We were let down by the sales person before we even bought the car. We were interested in one particular car and spoke to Peter the sales person. We live very far and after speaking to him he clearly indicate he wont let the car go without speaking to us. So we set a weekend free informing him we will come with the money to buy the car. If he wanted deposit we would have paid but he never asked for it. On Tuesday evening we noticed the car was taken off the website. I called on Wednesday morning to find out he has taken another deposit without even talking to us. He came up with some excuse saying he was too busy and will look into getting another one for us etc.. How could he forget us after my family and myself have spoken to him about 10 times in that week. I am the sort of person dislike people that dont keep their word. On a situation like this we may have missed a good car. I feel if they are saying things and not keeping their words they may do this to others. Also what else are they saying just to get a sale! My family and I are very upset about this as this was the only car in the country we liked. He said he will ask the other person if they will change their mind and call us back. Once again he didnt and I had to call to find that information. Now you know how they operate. All nice when talking but no Action.. They may respond to this with some Cock-and-bull story but when you give your word is business you stick by it or business will suffer.
Bought car here was given card for maps that didn't work that was quickly sorted and tire repair kit was missing.However within 3 weeks of purchase vehicle closing off whilst driving had to be towed to closest garage where multiple issues were found, work was carried out to make vehicle safe to use contacted Trade link to let them know and was met with hostility. Not there problem basically I should have brought vehicle back to them, now that work has been done they can't guarantee it was an ongoing issue or something new. I would not advice using them. I went to trading standards. MUST ADD Tires thread was less than 3mm on more than one of the tires please check carefully ladies take your partner or someone with experience of vehicles along for support.
I would advise anyone buying a vehicle from this dealer to get the vehicle thoroughly checked by a mechanic before purchase. They are dishonest and untrustworthy people. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing from them. I had a similar experience to other customers where I bought a vehicle and soon after noticed it had a problem. After contacting them the agent, who turned out to be a big liar, said that the warranty was only a local warranty and that I had to bring the vehicle back to them. After negotiating with them for weeks the end result was that I had to waste 2 days taking the car back to them to get it repaired. They don't care about customer service and only care about their own pocket. I had to travel from Birmingham back to them at my own cost and arrange my own accommodation because the garage ordered the wrong part. A 3 hour job turned out to be a 2 day job. So anyone who is going back to them be advised. I would not recommend this dealer at all. Buy from a local dealer for better customer service.
Be very careful if buying a car here. I purchased a car part ex for my car (which had no issues) and was ripped off, sold a car which was reported to have no problems, I've since spent almost the value of the car on repairs which would've been picked up on their initial checks. They didn't care one bit about their poor service and were quick to defend themselves, though couldn't answer why they hadn't disclosed the issues to me before the sale. Check over your car very carefully before commiting to buy as they are not trustworthy
Lots of really good cars in our price range, part exchange offered, very friendly and helpful sales staff. Not pushy. Very refreshing! Highly recommend.
